Sean Hartman’s story, told by his father Dan Hartman

Sarah Greenwood

On August 25th of last year Sean received his first dose of Pfizer.

On August 29th he went to the emergency room, with brown circles around his eyes, vomiting, an extremely sore shoulder and a rash. He was sent home with a prescription for Advil, the doctor failed to do bloodwork, D-Dimer and Troponin.

On the morning of September 27th, Sean was found dead on the floor beside his bed. Autopsy found no cause of the death of course. The result state cause of death was unascertained. I filed a complaint against the doctor with the CPSO, unfortunately they found him not guilty.

Sean’s biggest fear in life were needles and he never would have taken one if he didn’t have to, but in order to keep playing hockey, something he had been doing since he was 5 years old, he had to be vaccinated.

I am suffering so bad, I can’t even explain it, my life is ruined, and I can’t stop crying.

I was only able to take 3 weeks off work, even though I needed more time away. I am trying to raise funds to take a leave of absence to grieve. A GiveSendGo fundraiser has been created in order to receive donations (Justice for Sean), or you can visit our website at SupportSean.ca

I also have a Twitter page called Answers4Sean with 22,000 followers who are very kind people helping me get through this. I’m trying to save other children by telling Sean’s story so another parent doesn’t have to suffer a loss like I have.

Every Survivor has a medical journey that requires long-term, if not lifelong care.
