“I wouldn’t have come as far as I have without him”

My name is Julie Gamble and I was working as a takedown operator in a unionized environment making great money and life was good until June 2021, when I suffered serious reactions following my COVID-19 vaccine.
I took my first Pfizer shot and suffered severe allergic reactions that included vomiting and diarrhea, rash from my neck to my kneecaps, my eyes were swollen shut and I was Tachycardic.
When I went for my second shot, which was Moderna on July 18, 2021, less than 30 days after my first dose, the pharmacist didn’t want me to receive it and wanted me to see an immunologist due to the reactions I suffered from the first dose (I should have been exempt).
My doctor refused to give me an appointment with an immunologist and told me to take an antihistamine and go get my vaccine.
After my second shot I had a strong metallic taste in my mouth, then my right are went numb, and I could barely keep my eyes open on the drive home. Once home, I crawled up the stairs and fell asleep on the bathroom floor, and when I woke up, I couldn’t see and was blind in my right eye with no bladder or muscle control. I couldn’t even make it to the phone to call 911.
My urine was brown, I had broken blood vessels all over, my speech was slurred, I had trouble swallowing, my perception was off, all my muscles started cramping causing excruciating pain that felt as if I was being chewed away from the inside, my blood pressure would shoot up to 180-190 BPM, then back down and I couldn’t walk.
I was eventually diagnosed with Multiple Drug Intolerance Syndrome.
I was then terminated from my job for breach of contract and the union wouldn’t help because they stated they weren’t touching vaccine injuries and I lost all of my health insurance and benefits due to my union refusing to help me.
The Canadian government refused to pay for physiotherapy so I got a dog to help me remain committed to learning how to walk again. Goose, a border collie, became my biggest support and ally, and taught me how to walk again.
It’s something I thought was impossible given everything that happened to me. I’m forever grateful for his companionship and believe I wouldn’t have come as far as I have without him.
