Maureen Borland’s story, told by her son James Borland

She had several Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) strokes after the first and second vaccines. Her first one put her in the hospital and the side effects went away after a few days. The second dose, she woke up the morning after, and has never been the same.
She has full body tremors targeting mainly on the left side. She suffers from akathisia and dystonia. She used to work for the Royal Bank in Campbellford for many years and hasn’t been able to work since her injury. She lives with me full-time and is unable to live a life without help doing daily activities like cooking, cleaning, bathing, getting dressed, budgeting, etc.
She currently goes to a day program in Havelock she loves.
Every Survivor has a medical journey that requires long-term, if not lifelong care.
