“If you get vaccine injured, you are on your own physically, emotionally, and financially.”

The effects developed approximately 19 hours after she received her first dose of the vaccine. She suffered seizures, couldn’t speak or see, was vomiting, developed tics, suffered severe migraines, confusion, brain fog, loss of appetite, weight loss, and almost halted her menstrual cycle.
The seizures, tics, and vomiting had stopped, but could come back due to it being neurological and is still suffering with blackout spasms due to stress.
911 was called and it took them over 30 minutes to arrive. Once on the third level (my daughter’s bedroom) the paramedics cracked jokes and were laughing stating “You girls must have had a fun night last night” due to the smell of marijuana, while she was actively still twitching on the floor.
They refused to bring in a stretcher, making her walk down four sets of stairs by herself as they refused to assist her with that either.
Once at the ambulance, my husband had made it home and followed the ambulance to the hospital. Once in, they only ran a short EKG and a blood test to rule out drugs and alcohol, which only tested positive for marijuana use. At this point the seizures and vomiting had stopped but she had developed tics that were extreme.
They ran no other test or provided any treatment and sent her home. October 18, 2021, we returned to the emergency room, due to the tics, again they tried to blame marijuana use and possible pregnancy (she’s not pregnant). They ran no other tests, refused to even examine her and sent us home again.
These tics lasted 5 1/2 weeks before subsiding. October 19, 2021, I called the family doctor, who went back and forth on the phone with his receptionist, saying they wouldn’t see her until they received the information from emerge, which never ended up happening as those records were hidden from her “My Chart” for almost five months. It just stated that it was an emergency room visit, that was it.
So, I took her to C.H.E.O. (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) on October 21, 2021. They ran some hands-on basic testing but no mechanical ones. Stated on her chart that we were there for a headache (which we weren’t) and diagnosed her with seizures and tics, not further testing and only treatment given was Ibuprofen.
So fast forward to March 2022, my daughter wakes me at four in the morning complaining of severe chest pain in tears and struggling to breathe. We called 911 and they responded quickly. Once at emerge they ran a basic EKG and an x-ray diagnosed it as indigestion, and sent us home yet again.
Fast forward again to July 25th, 2022, after only receiving an x-ray, short EKG, and basic bloodwork, Dr. Pigott, the CEO of Peterborough Public Health gave his recommendation that the seizures, tics and severe migraines are not caused by her vaccination and is eligible to receive her next dose.
He gave this recommendation forty minutes before we were to attend her first EEG appointment at C.H.E.O. Also, I want to note I had already had a Toronto based doctor log her injuries as vaccine induced. So based on basic tests, not even waiting on the EEG readings, and a doctor stating this is from the vaccine, his recommendation was given. I’m confused as every doctor I have seen waits for all test results to come back before attempting to diagnose or give a recommendation. This was not followed in this situation whatsoever.
This affected my daughter dramatically; they won’t exempt her from a second dose, or any others moving forward and is now considered unvaccinated which leaves her out of certain social interactions during mandates.
I have learned of other children, teens, and adults with adverse effects through groups I’m a part of. All the groups appear to be concerned that the health authorities are systematically refusing to log reports of adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccines, or are putting obstacles in the way to discourage people from even reporting these adverse events.
Due to her diagnosis of seizures, she’s not allowed to apply for her license until seizure free for the next two years. I’ve reached out to Peterborough Public Health, my MPP Dave Smith, my MP Michelle Ferrier, and others of authority with no help and with some, not even a response.
Given how difficult it’s been for me to report my daughter’s adverse events, I can only imagine how people are dissuaded from even trying, or giving up after having tried. For these reasons, and due to my own personal experience in attempting, unsuccessfully, to report the negative side effects of the vaccine.
I am skeptical of the official position of the Canadian government, which I consider to be minimizing the risks of the vaccine.
I will close with this. If you get Covid, there’s all the help in the world, doctors, tests, treatment… If you get vaccine injured, you are on your own physically, emotionally, and financially.
