My name is Janet, and I was a personal support worker for 7 years and I loved my job. When the vaccines started rolling out, I was completely against it, until I was told that I’d need to get it or I would lose my job, so due to fear of that alone I caved.

I began having seizures, severe tremors in my hands, they shake so much that sometimes I need to be assisted in feeding. I walk with a walker now, I fall for absolutely no reason all the time, I have speech impairments, I get confused easily.

I was a healthy personal support worker that loved shopping, cooking, and baking. Now I need help eating, dressing, and regular daily activities. I’ve lost a lot of my strength in my arms and drop things most of the time.

I’ve received absolutely no help from my nurse practitioner, and they’re usually phone appointments when I do get one.
